Best Skateparks in Your Area

 There are several skateparks in our area, some of which are great quality whereas others, not so much. Today I will be ranking the skateparks in our area from worst to best, and giving my opinion on them. For my rankings I would put Skate TF in first place, Forest Glade Skatepark in second place, Tecumseh Skatepark in third place, Atkinson Skatepark in fourth place, and LaSalle Skatepark in fifth and last place. 

    The reason I would put Skate TF in first place is because it is the only indoor skatepark in the Windsor Essex region. Although you do have to pay to get into the skatepark, I find their prices reasonable for the quality of the park. The park is well kept and features half pipes, ledges, and banks. The park is also fairly new so there are lots of people who come to shred at this park. 

 Forest Glade Skatepark is rated second place because it is a very good outdoor park, greatly layed out with lots of different elements like bowls, ledges, and funboxes. The only flaw I can point out about this park is the amount of broken glass on the ground. Almost every time I've gone there were broken bottles on the ground, but what can you really expect from Windsor Skateparks? The park has a large community of skaters, bmx’ers, and scooterists, making for a fun time with friends at the skatepark. 

I put the Tecumseh Skatepark in third place because it is different from the other parks in our area. Although it is quite small, this park proves that size is not everything. The park has a stair set, good rails, a decent half pipe, and several ledges. The park is well kept and clean for the most part. 

I put Atkinson Skatepark in fourth place because it's not the best nor the worst park in our area. The park is in a large open space, however most of the park is flat making it seem more empty. The park consists of half pipes, quarter pipes, and a few rails. Overall a decent park but not the best in our area. 

Finally in last place I put the LaSalle Skatepark because I find it's poorly designed and does not have enough variation for different tricks. The park consists of a few ledges, some banks, and two pyramids. The park is in a good location but overall the park itself doesn't live up to my expectations which is why i ranked it in last place. Although the skatepark is in a good location, close to parks and the Vollmer recreation center, the skatepark is usually a ghost town because it's just not well designed.
