Pro Skateboarders that Skate Goofy
Skating goofy in skateboarding means your right foot is on the front of the board and you push with your left foot. In pro skateboarding, most of the skaters skate regular which is where your left foot is on the front of the board and you push with your right foot. There aren't many goofy skaters that are pro out there, but there are a couple and they make a name for the goofy skaters. Chris Russell and Felipe Gustavo are great examples of pro goofy skaters.
Chris Russell was born in california in november of 1996 and is sponsored by several popular brands such as; Creature, Red-Bull, Vans, etc. Chris features in several skate parts produced by; Red-Bull, Independent Trucks, OJ Wheels, Creature Skateboards, and Thrasher Magazine. The most popular video is the Creature Video posted by Creature Skateboards and currently sits at 810k views. I'd recommend watching the video. It's quite entertaining and Chris Russell opens up the video which is cool to see.
Felipe Gustavo is another pro skateboarder that skates goofy and he specializes in street skating which I find more interesting to watch in competitions and just in general. Felipe is a 31 year old pro skater from Brazil, born the 22nd of february 1991. In 2013, Felipe went pro and since then he's placed high up on the podium over 10 times. Felipe Gustavo also features in several skate parts on youtube produced by sponsors like; Red-Bull Skateboarding, The Berrics, and Plan B Skateboards. He's got several videos with views ranging from 10k to 1m, but his best part personally is in PLAN B- CODE by Plan B Skateboards. I think Felipe's part in the video is quite good, he starts at 8:46 and ends at 10:48, so it is quite a short part and I wish we could have got more but other than that the part is very good.
Well done! This post was well thought out and really well written. My only critique, is to add commas here and there, since some of your sentences are continuous or run-on. Although some punctuation was missing, I thought that this post was very interesting and infoŗmative and I would absolutely recommend to people in the future.
ReplyDeleteI’ve never actually been interested in skateboarding but this blog is motivating me to try skating goofy because you explained how to do it very well and I feel like I won’t be struggling when I try it out!!
