Why Vans Half Cabs are the best Shoes for Skateboarding

 Vans is a very large brand, well recognised in the world of skateboarding. The Half Cab shoe was originally released in 1992, honoring Steve Caballero's shoe model. Half Cabs are a very reliable shoe for skateboarding and have a good reputation throughout their 25 years of being released, making a name for themselves. The shoe is true to size and fits well for a skate shoe, tight, but exactly what's necessary for landing and performing difficult tricks that require precision. I personally dislike large skate shoes because I find it more difficult to manipulate the board in the way that I want, but everyone has their own preference.

 The shoes are comfortable on the inside which is essential for those long sessions at the skatepark. The shoes also include PopCush insoles on the inside of the shoe which are really nice providing an easier pop and impact protection. The shoe also has good protection over your ankle which is really nice because your board has less of a chance to hit your ankle. The ankle protection is also crucial for falling because one wrong landing off your board can injure your ankle, possibly ending your skateboarding career.

The shoes are also very durable and will last a long time making it worth the cost because you'll be able to ride these shoes for at least two or three months, before I started seeing any holes or rips in my shoes. Even once holes start forming the shoe is still skateable until your full toes are poking out. The laces are strong and almost impossible to rip, they're the longest lasting shoe in general that I have ever owned. For the price of 110$ canadian, I'd say these shoes are the best skate shoe ever made, it's worth the cost to find out for yourself how you like the shoe.

    This is a very informative post about the shoes you need for skateboarding. I believe that there should be more posts like yours about skateboarding like this then maybe we could have less skateboarding injuries.

Why Tony Hawk was the Best Skateboarder Overall

First off, this blog is not saying that Tony Hawk is the best skateboarder simply because of his skill, it's also mentioning how he changed the sport and what he did for the skateboarding community. Tony Hawk is an excellent man and I am proud that he is a big part of skateboarding and its community. Starting with the Birdman's skill, in total Tony won 73 titles over the span of his career. Best Skateparks in Your Area

  There are several skateparks in our area, some of which are great quality whereas others, not so much. Today I will be ranking the skateparks in our area from worst to best, and giving my opinion on them. For my rankings I would put Skate TF in first place, Forest Glade Skatepark in second place, Tecumseh Skatepark in third place, Atkinson Skatepark in fourth place, and LaSalle Skatepark in fifth and last place.      The reason I would put Skate TF in first place is because it is the only indoor skatepark in the Windsor Essex region. Although you do have to pay to get into the skatepark, I find their prices reasonable for the quality of the park. The park is well kept and features half pipes, ledges, and banks.
